As from 15 December 2025 salary rate will be increased to $96,229 - $124,271 pa

We are establishing a 12 month appointment pool for vacancies that may arise. We may offer permanent, fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.

About the Role

As a Lecturer, you will:

Deliver engaging, hands-on training that connects theory to real-world conservation challenges

Create immersive learning experiences that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and ecological awareness

Assess student progress with care, ensuring each learner feels supported and empowered

Mentor future conservation and ecosystem management professionals

Beyond the classroom, you’ll:

Contribute to innovative program development that reflects current environmental priorities

Collaborate with industry and community partners to keep our training relevant and impactful

Stay ahead of emerging trends in conservation, sustainability, and ecosystem restoration through ongoing professional development

We are looking for applicants with a minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on ground operational experience in maintaining natural areas.

Eligibility for employment within this area you must also hold qualifications in:

AHC31421 or AHC31424 Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management; or

AHC40924 or AHC40920 Certificate IV in Conservation and Ecosystem Management; or

AHC31522 or AHC31516 Certificate III in On Country Management; with relevant industry experience
