Are you an experienced financial auditor ready to lead teams and deliver high-impact audit outcomes across the WA Public Sector?
We’re seeking Audit Managers who bring:
· considerable experience in complex external audits of financial statements
· strong capability in interpreting and applying accounting and auditing standards
· experience leading and managing audit teams to deliver timely, high-quality outcomes
· effective coaching and performance management skills to support team development.
About the role
As an Audit Manager within Financial Audit at the Office of the Auditor General, you will lead and manage assurance audit teams, overseeing the planning, supervision and reporting on audits of financial statements, controls and key performance indicators.
You will compile and review audit evidence and evaluations to support the completion of audits of public sector entities, ensuring transparency, accountability, and adherence to regulatory standards.
You will lead by example – engaging confidently and professionally with clients, guiding team performance, and fostering a culture of integrity and continuous improvement.

We are establishing a pool of candidates for full time, part time, permanent and fixed term vacancies that arise within the next 12 months. Fixed term appointments may have the possibility of permanency.
We currently have several permanent, full-time positions available. Job share arrangements may be considered.
