Total potential earnings: $115,000 - $129,000 (Salary + Allowances) plus additional benefits detailed below:
- Competitive Salary: Annual base salary of $115,000, including uniform and laundry allowance.
- Flexible Work Arrangement: Permanent work-from-home arrangement, with flexibility to travel for business as required. The company covers all work-related travel costs except for personal motor vehicle usage, as per the allowance below.
- Home Office Allowance: Up to $6,500 per annum (tax-free), paid as a fortnightly allowance of $250, to support home office expenses.
- Personal Motor Vehicle Allowance: $7,500 per annum (taxable), paid as a fortnightly allowance of $288.46, to cover business use of a personal vehicle.
- Work Mobile Phone: Provided to support effective communication and role responsibilities.
- Work Laptop: Provided a laptop, screens, and a docking station.
- Program Leave: Unique 12-week continuous service cycle with 1 week of paid leave per cycle, in addition to standard leave entitlements.
- Annual Leave: 4 weeks of paid annual leave per year, with leave loading.
- Paid Christmas Leave: Additional paid leave during the Christmas closure period (approximately 2 weeks, inclusive of public holidays, subject to business closure dates).
- Paid Paternity/Maternity Leave: Up to 2 weeks of company-paid paternity/maternity leave, accessible after 12 months of service.
- Permanent Employment: Ongoing position, subject to government funding.
- Salary Sacrifice Benefits: Access to salary packaging of up to approximately $16,000 per year to maximise take-home pay.
- Superannuation: Standard employer superannuation contributions.
- Non-Smoker Incentive: Additional 1% employer superannuation contribution for non-smokers (conditions apply).

Position Overview
The Human Resources (HR) General Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the Human Resources and Payroll departments within Tullawon Health Service Inc. This role involves developing and implementing HR policies, supporting employee relations and ensuring efficient payroll processing. The HR General Manager supervises the Payroll Officer and HR Assistant to optimise workforce management, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, they drive technological initiatives that support HR functions and operational efficiency, while fostering a cohesive and productive organisational culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of high-quality HR, Payroll, and WHS services across the organisation, ensuring alignment with Tullawon Health Service Inc.’s values and objectives.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to attract, develop, and retain skilled and committed employees.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally safe workplace that supports staff wellbeing, engagement, and professional growth.
- Manage employment contracts, staff records, and performance review processes in line with legislation, awards, and organisational policies.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, reporting, and compliance with taxation, superannuation, and industrial relations requirements.
- Maintain and improve payroll systems and processes to enhance efficiency, security, and integration with HR and finance functions.
- Develop, implement, and review HR and Payroll policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with quality standards.
- Support accreditation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives, providing regular reports and workforce data to management.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support effective service delivery.
- Promote and model a strong workplace health and safety culture, ensuring safe systems of work, risk management, and staff wellbeing initiatives.
- Support incident management, WHS compliance, and training to maintain a safe, healthy, and supportive work environment.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, drive process efficiencies, and contribute to organisational development and strategic planning.
- Appropriately escalate HR matters and undertake timely actions to mitigate risks to the organisation.
Eligibility
- Must be able to meet and be comfortable with the job demands.
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Must hold a valid Australian driver's Licence.
- Must be able to pass a police check assessment.
- Must hold a South Australian Working with Children’s Check.
- Must be able to provide flexible work hours.
- Willingness and availability to travel if required.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or above in Human Resource Management.
- Two to five years of administrative experience
- One to two years of human resource experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding and alignment
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and meet deadlines within established policies and procedures.
- Ability to lead and manage teams effectively, fostering collaboration and driving performance.
- Understand relevant payroll laws, employment laws and Modern Awards.
