Workfast is seeking experienced Watercart Operators to join the earthworks and civil construction team on a major renewable energy infrastructure project in Merotherie, NSW.

Pay Rate: $44.00 p/hr + Overtime + Super
Location: Merotherie, NSW
Hours: 6:30am start, 10–12 hour shifts
Start Date: ASAP

This is a long-term opportunity working on a Tier 1 solar project, performing dust suppression and water management activities to support large-scale civil construction and site preparation.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operating Watercarts for dust suppression and compaction support
• Maintaining haul roads, access tracks, and lay down areas
• Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance
• Refilling, operating pumps, and managing water distribution across site
• Assisting with general civil and earthworks operations as required
• Working safely around plant, spotters, and site crews

What You Need:

• Current HR Driver Licence – Essential
• RII Ticket – Conduct Watercart Operations (RIIVEH304E) – Highly Regarded
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Previous experience operating Watercarts on civil or infrastructure projects
• Ability to work in a team environment with a strong safety focus
• Reliable transport to and from site
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
