The Role

• Assisting the Venue Manager, helping oversee the full venue operation
• Lead by example across bars, bistro, gaming, and entertainment zones
• Drive pace and service standards during busy periods while supporting the team on the floor
• Maintain compliance and licensing, manage daily cash-ups, and assist with scheduling and team management
• Build strong connections with the team and guests alike, a people-first approach is key
• Contribute to local marketing, promotions, and seasonal planning

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Duty Manage or 2IC in a medium to large-format or multi-revenue venue
• Confident across gaming operations, bistro service, beverage leadership, and compliance
• High energy and strong presence during service - calm, organised, and proactive
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative management style
• Comfortable working a flexible roster including nights and weekends
• A passion for mentoring teams and maintaining standards across the venue
• Full Australian working rights required
