We're looking for a experienced and passionate Assistant Manager to join us in this exciting new chapter . This is a rare opportunity to help set up and manage a brand-new venueand assist in building a team from the ground up, and be involved in every aspect of our operations.

Bistro Bondi is where old-world charm meets coastal cool, a relaxed yet refined spot with a short, seasonal menu made for sharing and a drinks list that complements it perfectly.

Job Description:

As the Assistant Manager, you'll be a key player in bringing our vision to life. From the ground up, you'll be involved in every aspect of the business and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the venue.

Responsibilities:

Assist in organising operational processes and setting service standards.

Assist in hiring and training a passionate and skilled team to deliver exceptional service.

Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the venue, ensuring a smooth and efficient environment.

Assist in developing and implementing systems for managing front-of-house operations.

Assist in managing inventory, ordering and cost control to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Foster excellent guest relationships by ensuring outstanding dining experiences and promptly addressing customer feedback.

Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Ensure a positive and motivating work culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.

Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Must have flexible availability including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate is required before commencement.
