The Role:

As the Data Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust, secure, and scalable data environment that supports enterprise-wide reporting and analytics. You'll work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, report-ready data sources that empower strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibility

• Enterprise Data Lake Management
  Independently lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the enterprise data lake to support scalable and integrated data solutions.
• Infrastructure Configuration & Maintenance
  Configure, monitor, and optimise data lake infrastructure and pipelines to ensure reliable and high-performing data flows.
• Data Integration & Quality Assurance
  Develop and manage data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality across all systems.
• Compliance, Governance & Security
  Ensure all data practices align with organisational policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory standards, maintaining data integrity and privacy.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver trusted, report-ready data sources that support performance monitoring and strategic planning.

Skill & Competencies:

• Proven experience in managing enterprise data platforms or lakes.
• Strong skills in data pipeline development, integration, and infrastructure optimisation.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A passion for enabling data-driven decision-making.
