Their custom IoT devices provide data pipelines that feed their deep learning AI/ML models, creating advanced statistical analysis of vibrations and structural performance for large fleets of physical assets. This replaces traditional asset monitoring (often performed by field engineers) with real-time insights and predictions into the behaviour of high-value buildings and structures. This allows clients to measure AND control physical asset fleets from any location.

Your Role
A key focus will be delivering high-quality, user-centric front-end software. Specific responsibilities include…

Front-End Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive interfaces using React and Next.js.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end services written in Python
• Maintain existing Ruby-on-Rails dashboard front end for 6-12 months.
• Build and optimise interactive data visualisations (charts, dashboards, trend analysis) to support sensor data workflows.
• Implement user-facing features that interface with AI/ML endpoints, ensuring outputs are presented clearly and user inputs can be fed back into model workflows.
• Apply secure coding practices and ensure front-end components meet cybersecurity standards for security, availability, and data integrity Integration and Collaboration
• Work with back-end engineers to define and consume REST and GraphQL APIs. –
• Develop front-end workflows that connect to third-party systems such as ServiceNow and SiteTracker via API, FTP, or MQTT.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions to maintain code quality and consistency across the platform.
• Collaborate with firmware and data teams to ensure accurate data representation and consistent UI behaviour for IoT data streams.

Testing and Maintenance:

• Implement and maintain unit and integration tests for front-end components.
• Monitor and optimise client-side performance and load efficiency
• Diagnose and resolve user-facing bugs in both the current and new dashboards.
• Maintain clear documentation for code, configuration, and workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in React and Next.js.
• Experience working with front-end components in Ruby on Rails applications. Strong understanding of API integration, data handling, and visualisation.
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable, maintainable web interfaces.
• Working knowledge of secure coding and SOC-2/ISO27001 compliance principles.
• Experience with cloud-based architectures and DevOps workflows.
• Familiarity with IoT data, sensor systems, or industrial monitoring platforms (advantageous)
