This is a key leadership role — leading a passionate kitchen team and driving the launch of a new brand within the historic King & Godfree precinct. You’ll set the standard, deliver exceptional food, and help define what great pizza means in Melbourne today.

What You’ll Do
Lead and mentor a tight-knit kitchen team.
Manage prep, dough, bake, service, allergen awareness, and quality control.
Spearhead Garfield’s opening — the first of three venues launching within the building.
Collaborate with culinary and ops teams on recipes, specials, and systems.
Deliver consistency, efficiency, and excellence every shift.
Maintain top-level kitchen discipline, hygiene, and structure.
Lead from the oven, the pass, and the front.

What You’ll Bring
Proven experience as Head Pizzaiolo, Head Chef, or Senior Chef in a high-quality, high-volume venue.
Solid grasp of COGs, systems, and operations.
Calm, confident leadership that lifts your team.
Drive for quality, efficiency, and care.
A genuine interest in learning the Garfield way: care, consistency, craft.
