As the Product Manager at Phoenix Contact, you will be responsible for leading the development and strategic growth of the Device Connectors (DC) product families. This role ensures that the portfolio remains aligned with evolving customer needs and the company’s broader objectives. Based in our Parramatta, NSW office, this full-time position oversees the day-to-day management of the assigned product portfolio across Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

Manage the full product lifecycle, from research and development to launch and ongoing support.

Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.

Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, and marketing teams to define product requirements and roadmaps.

Develop and implement product strategies that maximise revenue, market share and customer satisfaction.

Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimise pricing, packaging and positioning.

Create compelling product collateral, including specifications, user guides and marketing content.

Provide technical support and training to the sales team to ensure effective product knowledge and positioning.

What You'll Need

Tertiary Qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in the industrial automation or manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and customer insights.

Technical aptitude and the capacity to understand complex product features and functionalities.

Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
