As we continue to grow, we are seeking a technically skilled and commercially savvy Product Manager to join our Sydney or Melbourne based team.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Management & Strategy

Manage the UPS product portfolio, including product selection, lifecycle management, and performance analysis.

Liaise with international suppliers to ensure product quality, availability, and compliance with Australian standards.

Identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.

Technical Expertise

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and related power protection technologies. Specific areas of expertise should include:

UPS Technologies & Topologies:

Strong understanding of different UPS architectures (e.g., offline/standby, line-interactive, double-conversion/online).

Familiarity with single-phase and three-phase systems, voltage and frequency regulation, and power factor correction.

Electrical & Electronic Systems:

Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.

Knowledge of battery technologies (VRLA, lithium-ion, etc.), battery management systems, and runtime calculations.

Installation & Integration:

Experience supporting the installation, commissioning, and integration of UPS systems in various environments (e.g., data centres, industrial, commercial).

Understanding of Australian electrical standards and compliance requirements (e.g., AS/NZS 3000, RCM compliance).

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:

Skilled in identifying and resolving technical issues related to UPS performance, alarms, and communication interfaces.

Familiarity with SNMP, Modbus, and other remote monitoring protocols.

Product Evaluation & Testing:

Ability to assess new products for technical suitability, performance, and compatibility with existing systems.

Experience conducting product comparisons, load testing, and quality assurance checks.

Technical Documentation & Support:

Capable of creating and reviewing technical manuals, datasheets, and installation guides.

Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to internal teams, partners, and customers.

Software & Tools:

Proficiency with UPS configuration software, monitoring platforms, and diagnostic tools.

Comfortable using ERP systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Excel for product and inventory management.

Marketing & Commercial Input

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop product positioning, promotional strategies, and technical content.

Support the development of sales tools, brochures, and digital campaigns.

Contribute to pricing strategies and competitive analysis.

Inventory & Supply Chain

Work closely with the operations team to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.

Monitor product availability and lead times to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Market Development

Identify and pursue opportunities to grow market share in key sectors.

Build strong relationships with channel partners, resellers, and end-users.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product management, preferably in power systems, electrical equipment, or industrial technology.

Strong technical knowledge of UPS systems and power protection solutions.

Experience with inventory planning, pricing, and supplier management.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and product management tools (e.g., ERP, CRM).
