With continued growth and an MSP landscape that never sits still, we’re seeking a seasoned Service Desk Technician (2+ years’ experience) who can own their queue, deliver exceptional client outcomes, and confidently represent IT Sales & Services both on the phone and on-site.
About IT Sales & Services
IT Sales and Services is a people-first Managed Service Provider (MSP) – a close-knit team of passionate tech enthusiasts based in Noosaville, QLD.
“Exceptional customer service” isn’t a slogan—it’s the way we build long-term partnerships. You’ll join a supportive, growth-focused team that values humour, curiosity, and proactive problem-solving.
Our mission is simple: make IT support personable, accessible, and enjoyable for our clients.
Role Overview
Are you a confident and experienced technician who thrives on solving complex technical issues and building strong client relationships?
We’re looking for someone with both technical skill and outstanding communication skills — a professional who can deliver results in fast-moving environments while still making clients feel heard, valued, and supported.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced IT Support: Handle escalated technical issues across hardware, software, networks, and cloud services, delivering effective solutions.
Diagnose and Resolve: Apply your experience and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical challenges efficiently.
Ticket Management: Take full ownership of your tickets in our PSA, ensuring all work is logged accurately and completed within SLAs.
System Installation & Maintenance: Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems to ensure uptime and reliability.
On-Site & Remote Support: Deliver professional service both remotely and on-site at client locations.
Collaboration & Escalation: Work with team members and escalate issues where required, while mentoring junior technicians.
Project Management: Coordinate, and deliver internal and client-facing projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and outcomes are met.
Continuous Improvement: Share knowledge, document and contribute to refining processes and client experience.
Stay Current: Keep up with emerging technologies, security practices, and MSP industry trends.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2+ years in a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking fundamentals, remote monitoring tools and security platforms.
Customer Service: Outstanding communication
Driver’s License: Valid Queensland driver’s license (required for on-site work).
What We Offer
Competitive Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 per year, based on experience.
Recognition & Impact: In a smaller MSP, you’re not a number – your contributions are visible and valued.
Career Development: Ongoing training and certification opportunities to advance your skills.
Modern Toolset: Work with cutting-edge MSP technologies and automation platforms.
Work–Life Balance: Based locally on the Sunshine Coast in our Noosaville office, with supportive management and a positive team culture.
