Senior Mechanical Estimator – HVAC Projects & Service

We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join a respected national HVAC and building services business. You’ll be part of a high-performing team supporting commercial projects ranging from $500k to $5 million in value - across both new works and long-term service contracts.

This role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to contribute more than just numbers - you’ll be a key player in helping shape bid strategies and supporting delivery teams.

What you’ll be doing

Estimating mechanical works across commercial HVAC and services projects

Scoping sites, assessing risks, and pulling together competitive tenders

Collaborating with PMs, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors

Working on both new project tenders and major service contract bids

Identifying opportunities for value engineering and smart delivery

Building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

What they’re looking for

5+ years’ estimating experience in mechanical, HVAC or building services

Trade or engineering background (mechanical preferred)

Comfortable working on projects from $500k up to $5M

Detail-driven, commercially aware, and confident in your pricing

Able to balance desk time with site walks and supplier calls

A team player who’s also comfortable running your own show

Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
