The Role
Contributes to the development and implementation of Reconciliation Action Plan initiatives and Aboriginal workforce initiatives.
Delivers of targeted recruitment, retention, and professional development strategies for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees.
Develops and co-ordinates the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment and development programs, fostering continuous enhancement and promoting best practice throughout the department.
Provides support, guidance and coaching to continue building the capability of Aboriginal workforce initiatives.
Oversees and co-ordinates the LGIRS Gnalla Mila, Gnalla Wangkiny (Gnalla) Committee
Provides advice and guidance to support the department in developing and implementing culturally appropriate learning and development offerings that promote an inclusive environment and value and support workplace diversity.
Licenses
C or C-A Drivers Licence or capability for independent trave
