About the role
Thunderbox Industries' is seeking an experienced Purchasing and Administration Officer to join our team in Crestmead, Queensland. This full-time position will be responsible for providing comprehensive purchasing and administrative support to our operations.
What you'll be doing
Manage the purchasing process for materials, supplies, and equipment required for our operations
Liaise with international and local suppliers
Handle international logistics including import documentation, tracking ETA's and container de-hire
Tracking shipping cost and raw material movements
Maintain accurate inventory records, generate and receipt purchase orders
Assist with the preparation of reports and other documents as needed
Admin support when required
What we're looking for
Experience in a purchasing and logistics role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and suppliers
Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management best practices
