Valley, currently seeking an experienced and a result-driven Management

Accountant to join our team.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting,

and compliance for property groups. This role involves analysing financial

performance, preparing management accounts and reports, and ensuring

compliance with accounting standards, including trust and owners’ accounts.

Key responsibilities of the position:

-Performance Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly and annual financial

statements and reports for individual properties or portfolios.

-Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets for properties,

track performance against budget, and forecast future financial outcomes to

identify variances and trends.

-Cost Management: Monitor and analyse operational costs, identify areas for

cost reduction, and to enhance profitability.

-Asset Valuation: Contribute to the valuation of real estate assets by providing

financial data and analysis that supports accurate asset accounting.

-Strategic Financial Advice: Advise senior management on strategic decisions,

such as investment opportunities, operational improvements, and long-term

financial planning, using financial insights to guide business strategy.

- Financial Systems Management: Oversee the maintenance of financial

databases.

Key Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

-Minimum 5 years’ experience in management accounting or financial analysis

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail

-Solid commercial acumen

-Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

-Proficiency with financial software

-Strong grounding in management accounting principles, including budgeting

and forecasting
