Due to ongoing growth and strategic projects, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team.

Your new role

Reporting to the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with operational teams to drive business performance and deliver insightful financial analysis. This hands-on position will see you responsible for:

• Delivering accurate and timely monthly management reporting
• Leading the annual budget and monthly forecasting processes
• Building and maintaining robust costing models to inform commercial decisions
• Analysing and controlling costs to improve profitability
• Ensuring financial integrity through compliance, reconciliations, and process documentation
• Supporting operational teams with financial insights and project analysis
• Acting as a key finance contact for manufacturing operations, including inventory, COGS, and raw materials conversion
• Driving continuous improvement in financial systems and processes

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant within the manufacturing sector (essential)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, and inventory management
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the business
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
• CPA/CA/CMA qualification (or working towards)
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI highly regarded)
