About the role

Lethbridge Dental is seeking a reliable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our friendly team in Penrith, NSW. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment. The position is 4 days a week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentists during procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and ensuring a smooth workflow

Providing chairside support to dentists, including passing instruments, mixing materials, and taking X-rays

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating treatment plans

Ensuring the dental clinic is well-stocked with necessary supplies and materials

Providing a high level of customer service to patients, responding to their needs and queries

Adhering to strict infection control protocols and maintaining a clean, safe work environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience working as a Dental Assistant.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor

Proficient in using dental software and electronic patient records

A passion for providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to continuous learning
