Role Purpose
The Marketing Guru will lead OmniDerm’s marketing strategy across consumer, clinic, and professional channels. This person will drive brand awareness, clinic partner engagement, product launches, and digital performance, ensuring that all marketing activities align with OmniDerm’s scientific/clinical positioning and commitment to skin barrier health.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement an annual and quarterly marketing plan aligned with OmniDerm’s business goals (growth, sales, clinic partnerships, brand positioning).
Define key target segments (consumers, clinics/professionals), map their journey, and tailor messaging accordingly.
Clinic Partner Marketing & Support
Work closely with Business Development / Clinic Education teams to design materials, workshops, and programs that support clinic partners (training, in‐clinic marketing, promotions).
Ensure partner clinics have the tools and content (product training, point of sale, digital assets) to promote OmniDerm effectively to their clients.
Product & Launch Management
Plan and execute new product launches—coordinating cross‐functional teams (R&D / formulation, regulatory, sales, digital).
Manage product lifecycle activities (e.g. updates, repositioning, packaging, promotional offers).
Digital & Content Marketing
Oversee digital marketing channels: website, social media, email marketing, content creation (blogs, educational content, video).
SEO / SEM strategy to drive organic & paid traffic, conversion, and retention.
MQLS – this is a must to cascade down to the sales force.
Develop content that educates consumers / professionals about skin barrier science, ingredients, treatment protocols.
Brand & Communications
Maintain brand consistency and voice that reflects the clinic / professional skincare positioning of OmniDerm.
Develop PR / media strategies: earned media, trade publications, influencer / professional endorsements that align with OmniDerm’s credibility and science orientation.
Budget & Metrics
Manage marketing budget, ensuring cost effectiveness and ROI of campaigns.
Monitor KPIs: sales growth, partner retention, clinic engagement, digital metrics (traffic, conversion, social engagement), customer acquisition costs, margin impact.
Report regularly to senior leadership on campaign performance and insights; iterate strategy based on data.
Collaboration
Work with internal teams: Sales / Business Development, Education / Training, Product Development, Regulatory, Customer Service.
Manage external agencies/vendors (creative, digital, PR) as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in marketing, ideally in skincare/cosmetics / professional beauty / medical aesthetic sector.
Demonstrated ability to plan and run multi-channel campaigns, including digital, content, clinic/trade, and consumer channels.
Content creation skills or strong oversight of content production (educational, technical, consumer).
Data-driven mindset: comfortable with Google Analytics, campaign reporting tools, metrics tracking, KPIs.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to translate scientific or technical language into compelling messaging.
Strong project management and organisational skills; ability to manage multiple projects/launches in parallel, prioritise.
Budget management experience.
