JD Lineboring Pty Ltd is an established business commencing operations in the Mackay area in 2016. We have a conveniently located workshop in North Mackay, Queensland.

We're a fast growing and progressive company with major contracts in place. Our customer base is located throughout the Bowen Basin and Mackay Industrial precincts. Our work is varied as we repair multiple types of heavy industrial equipment.

As we keep growing our existing team of exceptional people needs to be expanded, so we are looking for someone who will happily fit in with our crew.

The opportunity

We're seeking a driven and highly experienced Line Borer to support our existing team and customer base. This position is a mix of working within the Bowen Basin and the Mackay Industrial precinct.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Repairs and overhauls of site equipment both in field and workshop based using a Climax portable line boring machine

• Undertake line boring activity repairs

• Checks and Inspections of plant equipment

• Be capable as working as a Team member

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Mechanical Australian Trade Certificate III

• Minimum 3 years' specific line boring experience required

• Current car licence plus medium rigid vehicle licence required

• Australian citizenship is mandatory for this position
