Cobra Waste Solutions is seeking a Transport Allocator / Fleet Manager to join our NSW operations team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about managing logistics, fleet performance, and customer service with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and cost-effective route planning.

This is your chance to take ownership of our fleet operations and make a real impact within a growing business.

The successful candidate will manage the daily allocation of a rigid truck fleet, maintain compliance with NHVAS and fatigue regulations, and serve as a key link between drivers, customers, and the operations team.

Your strong ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment will be key to this role and your success.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily scheduling and dispatch of HR fleet

Communicate with drivers and customers about deliveries

Monitor compliance with NHVAS and driver fatigue requirements

Assist with run sheets, docket control, and record-keeping

Liaise with the sales team to meet customer requirements

Provide admin support to the wider operations team

🙌 About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

Eager to learn and grow in logistics or transport

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

A confident communicator with drivers and clients

Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic IT systems

A proactive team player who performs well under pressure

Knowledge in the Waste Recycling industry (highly preferred)

Mechanically minded (preferably)

Fleet Allocators will see the location of Cobra vehicles within the road network at all times and have the ability to re-assign Cobra vehicles to different customer sites in real-time.

Experience in a similar position or within the Transport and Logistics industry is necessary.
