We’re looking for a Paralegal to work in a predominantly remote role at our firm. Some attendance may be required on a bimonthly basis for team meetings and events.

Our firm

We are a very busy boutique firm located on the south coast of NSW in Vincentia. The principal has been operating for 10 years out of our office offering legal services in the areas of property, conveyancing, family law, estates and criminal law - offering a variety of interesting work. We have a great reputation amongst clients and most of our work is from repeat clients and referrals.

The role

Preparing and processing property documentation including legal documents and general correspondence

Providing support to the Solicitors

Maintaining all files and keeping the database up to date

Liaising with clients, lenders and other external stakeholders and colleagues

Conveyancing Assistance in preparing settlements for clients, including taking carriage of matters from exchange to settlement

Sale Contract Preparation for both residential and off plan developers

About you

Exceptional communication and self-awareness

The ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Outstanding attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

The ability to work under pressure when needed

A positive attitude and the ability to work well individually and in a team;

Experience with PEXA is a requirement

Experience with Conveyancing is a requirement

Experience with Smokeball or LEAP legal software is preferred
