We’re looking for a dedicated Full-Time Cook to join our kitchen team and help deliver outstanding meals that match our high standards and ambience.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes aligned with The Concord’s European/Mediterranean menu style.

Ensure consistency, presentation, and high quality of all food items served.

Monitor stock levels, order ingredients, and manage food waste.

Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen and work areas (comply with all NSW health & safety regulations).

Assist in menu development, seasonal specials, and recipe innovations.

Work collaboratively with front-of-house, events, and function teams to meet service demands.

Assist during functions, peak times, and special events held on site.

Qualifications & Requirements

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent trade qualification).

At least 2 years’ experience working as a cook in a similar hospitality setting (club, restaurant, café, event venue).

Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP principles, and NSW food handling laws.

Ability to work in a busy, dynamic environment and manage competing demands.

Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organisational skills.

Good teamwork and communication skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and for events/functions.

Demonstrated passion for food and hospitality.
