The Builders Club are currently seeking a Full time Chefs/ Cooks & Pizza Chefs who are enthusiastic, experienced, and committed team players who are focused on delivering excellent food within a fast-paced environment, whilst also using initiative to impress us with their skills and ambition.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook food in accordance with our menus and presentation standards.

Understand and prepare foods to meet dietary requirements.

Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining cooking utensils, equipment, and food preparation areas.

Participate in regular stock take and inventory control activities

Ensure compliance of all WHS, Food Safety and club policies and procedures.

About you:

Have demonstrated experience in a busy kitchen operation, including a la carte and conference and events.

Must have a positive attitude, be reliable, punctual and a team player.

Excellent personal presentation.

Strong attention to detail.

Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high quality food to our guests.

The ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays (essential).

Ability to follow instructions in a prompt and efficient manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery as a minimum.

Proven experience as a qualified Chef, minimum 3 years preferred.

Minimum 2 years' experience in large commercial kitchens.

Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation, and statutory obligations.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.

Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service.
