About Educatius ANZ
Educatius ANZ is part of the global Educatius Group – the world’s largest organisation dedicated exclusively to international high school exchange.
In Australia and New Zealand we manage Southern Cross Cultural Exchange (SCCE) and Student Exchange Australia New Zealand (SEANZ) – both long-established, government-registered secondary student exchange organisations.
Our mission is to create life-changing experiences that connect students, families, and schools across cultures. We’re now looking for a Compliance Officer to strengthen our commitment to child safety, program quality, and national standards.
The Role
This newly created role ensures Educatius ANZ continues to meet and exceed all requirements under the National Guidelines for the Operation of International Secondary Student Exchange Programs in Australia and relevant Child Safe Standards.
Working closely with our Director and program team, you’ll maintain robust systems, policies, and reporting processes that protect our students and support best practice across multiple states.
This is a part time role, designed to support our team and hold all processes accountable to various compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain compliance with the National Guidelines, state reciprocity conditions, and internal Educatius policies.
Oversee Child Safety Standards implementation, including Working with Children and Police Check verification and compliance with child safety protocols.
Manage provider registration renewals, audits, and reporting to education departments.
Conduct internal audits on host family, student, and Local Coordinator files to ensure all documentation meets required standards.
Support incident and complaint management, ensuring timely reporting and record-keeping.
Deliver compliance and child-safety training for staff, Local Coordinators, and host families.
Maintain accurate registers, dashboards, and documentation in our internal systems (Zoho/EMS).
Prepare quarterly compliance and child-safety reports for management and board review.
About You
You’re detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about student welfare. You thrive on maintaining structure, documentation, and accountability – and you understand that compliance is the foundation of trust in student exchange.
You will bring:
Strong knowledge of Child Safe Standards and/or experience in child protection, education, or youth welfare.
Understanding of the National Guidelines for International Student Exchange Programs (or willingness to learn).
Experience in compliance, quality assurance, or risk management in the education, NGO, or government sector.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Integrity, sound judgement, and the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team.
Why Join Us
Contribute to meaningful, globally impactful work connecting young people and cultures.
Join a passionate, supportive, and mission-driven team.
Flexible hybrid working arrangements.
Opportunity to shape and lead compliance best practice across two national programs.
