An established and well-regarded civil contractor based in Parramatta, NSW is currently seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee a pipeline of upcoming projects across the Sydney metro area. This company has built a strong reputation delivering a range of civil infrastructure works including shoring, bulk and detailed earthworks, road construction, stormwater drainage, demolition, remediation, and utilities.

With several new projects awarded and a healthy forward workload, they are now looking to add a capable, hands-on Civil Project Manager to their growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the full project lifecycle from tender handover through to completion

Develop and manage project programs, schedules, and budgets

Coordinate with clients, consultants, site teams, and subcontractors

Ensure all safety, quality, and environmental requirements are met

Lead and mentor site staff including Supervisors and Engineers

Oversee procurement, cost control, and subcontractor management

Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting to senior leadership

Handle client correspondence, contract administration, and variation management

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Civil Project Manager role

Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent)

Previous experience with projects involving roadworks, drainage, earthworks, and utilities

Strong understanding of industry standards, specifications, and construction methodology

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project deliverables

Current driver’s license and right to work in Australia
