A bit about the role
We are on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Youth Service Team Leader to empower our team of vibrant Werribee Youth Coach's to create and facilitate real employment pathways for young people in your community. In this role you will leverage your leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills to help Youth Projects and our teams overcome complex barriers to employment with a person-centered approach that creates real community impact.
Between managing day to day operations of our thriving Werribee hub, engaging with team members in a meaningful way, facilitating and improving service delivery; every day as a Youth Services Team Leader looks a little different. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of Youth Coaches to ensure the successful delivery of services.
- Provide guidance and support to young people, helping them build the skills and confidence to overcome employment barriers.
- Work closely with employers and industry partners to understand their needs and align with the goals of young jobseekers.
- Ensure the efficient operation and delivery of services, maintaining compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Key Requirements:
- A Diploma level qualification in Mental Health, Youth Work, Community Services, or Career Development.
- Experience working in the Employment and/or Community Services Industry within a leadership capacity .
- Strong administration, communication and advisory skills.
- Empathetic, passionate and collaborative personality is favorable.
