CVGT Employment is entering an exciting new chapter with the launch of the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program - an evolution in how we support people with disability, injury, or health conditions to find meaningful, sustainable work.

About Us

At CVGT Employment, we believe meaningful work transforms lives. Since 1983, we’ve been connecting people to opportunity, supporting businesses with capable talent, and strengthening the communities we serve. As a not-for-profit, for-purpose organisation with a presence across Victoria, New South Wales, and Tasmania, we’re proud to champion inclusive employment pathways.

Calder ESA

This role operates within the Calder Employment Services Area (ESA), which includes Moonee Ponds, Broadmeadows, Coburg and Craigieburn with outreach support to Sunbury and Mickleham.

What You’ll Do

As a Team Leader in the IEA program, you’ll support and guide a growing team to deliver person-centred services that empower participants with disability, injury, or health conditions to achieve sustainable employment. Reporting to the ESA Manager, this role blends strategic leadership with hands-on support, fostering a culture of care, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead with Purpose: Provide regular coaching, supervision, and feedback to your team, fostering a culture of empathy, professionalism, and continuous development.
  • Deliver Person-Centred Support: Guide your team to deliver tailored, strengths-based services that help participants achieve meaningful employment outcomes.
  • Model Best Practice: While not holding a dedicated caseload, the Team Leader provides relief coverage and hands-on support for complex cases, demonstrating service excellence and building team capability.
  • Strengthen Partnerships: Collaborate with internal teams, employers, and community organisations to expand inclusive employment pathways and strengthen local networks.
  • Program Performance: Monitor caseload distribution, team performance, and service delivery to ensure alignment with contractual obligations, compliance standards, and quality benchmarks.

What You Bring

  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and coach teams in a performance-driven environment.
  • Relevant Background: A Certificate or Diploma in Community or Employment Services (or related field) or lived experience navigating support systems to achieve education or employment outcomes is highly regarded.
  • Person-Centred Expertise: Expertise in strengths-based case management, with a deep commitment to supporting individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Trusted for your empathy, resilience, and authenticity - qualities that build strong relationships and encourage collaboration.
  • Tech Savvy: Confident with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools.
  • Pre-Requisites: Full working rights in Australia, with the flexibility to travel across the ESA region. Ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
