Everllence (formerly known as MAN Energy Solutions) is in search of an experienced and energetic Service Engineer to join our PrimeServ Marine & Power Perth team and carry out the following tasks:

Repair and overhaul of marine craft engines, 4-stroke and 2-stroke large bore engines, and other associated machinery and equipment, on both domestic and overseas sites involving frequent travel.

Mechanical equipment and systems and other engineering projects: planning, designing, resolving operational problems.

Drafting, interpreting specifications/drawings/plans and determining repair methods.

Supervising the construction, installation, operation and maintenance of equipment and machinery.

Project management including labour, materials, plant and equipment, budgeting, quoting, tendering, cost and timeline management.

Customer Service including helping with customer inquiries about any Everllence products.

Complying with manufacturers maintenance and service instructions, Service Manual and other relevant documentation.

Submitting in a timely manner detailed job/service reports and any other relevant reports in accordance with Company’s requirements, timesheets, expense claims.

Liaising with the Engine Sales Department concerning customer product inquiries

Obtaining information on competitors’ products, activities, and pricing on service or parts

Assisting with implementing the Integrated Management System for Quality, Safety, and Environment

Attending training as required and delivering on-the job training to other less experienced staff as required.

Selection Criteria:

Mechanical Engineer tertiary qualification and a hands-on experience in same/similar role. Would suit ANZSCO 233916 Professional engineer with experience.

Sea going, power station, or industrial plant experience

Broad based reciprocating engine experience and or interest in control systems

Hands-on experience with marine craft engines, 4-stroke and 2-stroke large bore engines and equipment

Fluent with MS Office applications and report writing

Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Australian drivers licence

Ability to travel

Australian citizen and/or Permanent Residency visa holders highly desirable

Candidates living in Perth highly desirable
