Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
Pay Per Hour: On-Site ~ $75 p/h; Workshop ~ $65 p/h
Roster: 2 weeks on / 1 week off or as per project requirement

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Dewatering Technician to join our site operations team. This hands-on role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of dewatering and fluid-transfer systems for mining operations. The position involves frequent travel to client sites and working autonomously in demanding conditions.
This position requires extended periods away from Perth for site-based work.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, and maintain bore pump and pipeline systems for pit and underground dewatering.
Conduct performance testing, fault diagnosis, and repairs on pump stations and HDPE/steel reticulation networks.
Supervise or train crew members during site construction or system upgrades.
Fabricate, fit, and modify components to meet operational requirements.
Maintain accurate job documentation, test results, and safety records.
Liaise with clients and site management to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Uphold all WHS, environmental, and site-specific compliance standards.
Skills and Experience Required
Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role is required.
Demonstrated competency in HDPE fusion welding and steel pipeline installation.
Mechanical fitting, fault finding, and preventative maintenance skills.
Proven track record working in remote or high-risk mine environments.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, layouts, and QA/QC documents.
Sound understanding of safety systems and risk assessment procedures.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications and Licences
Unrestricted Permission to Work/ Live in WA
Current Driver's Licence (required)
White Card (required)
Poly Welding Ticket (preferred)
Mechanical Trade Qualification or equivalent experience (highly regarded)
National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol screen (required prior to commencement)
