Full time position | Office Administration Officer | Hawkesbury based | Salary (negotiable based on experience)

About the business

This is a unique opportunity to work for a dynamic and highly successful accounting firm providing bookkeeping, financial accounting and reporting services across a diverse client base. Our clients cover everything from builders, restaurants, manufacturing and IT services.

About the role

We require an enthusiastic team-player with exceptional attention to detail to join our administration team. Your exceptional time management and customer service skills will be key to building strong client relationships and meeting time critical deadlines. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary with potential for growth and the opportunity to work in a family friendly, enjoyable and supportive workplace. Our office hours are 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday and there is no expectation of overtime hours.

This position is not a work from home position but that just means you get to see our wonderful and charismatic colleagues and clients!

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Answering telephone calls & responding to emails

• Assist with client inquiries

• Distribute client correspondence

• Business debtors and creditors tracking and follow up

• Ensuring office adherence to business processes and standards

• Maintenance of electronic filing systems

• Keep the office running efficiently and without disruptions

• Team and office management

Skills and experience

• Confidence working in a fast paced professional office

• Solid office skills, such as filing, scanning and document management

• MS Office suite, especially Word and Excel

• Very strong verbal and written communication skills are essential

• Knowledge and experience working in an accounting firm with experience in ACCESS Handisoft, Xero and ASIC is essential. Knowledge and experience with at least two of these and a willingness to be trained further in the role is essential.
