About the Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping NDIS participants live meaningful, independent lives.

Your day could include:

Weekday, Weekend, Evening and Sleepover shifts available

In Home Support shifts and SIL Home shifts available

Assisting with household tasks and meal preparation

Supporting people to access the community and build skills

Encouraging independence, confidence, and choice

Providing personal care and daily living support

Promoting wellbeing through empathy, patience, and respect

Transporting people to activities and appointments

Documenting and Progress Reporting as required

Experience in disability support is highly regarded but not essential - we will provide training and support for the right people with the right attitude.

✅ Requirements

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain ASAP)

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

Working with Children and Police Checks (or willingness to obtain ASAP)

Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent (preferred)

As an employer, Bridge Disability Support is required to ensure that staff are suitably skilled and trained to competently perform their duties in a safe and appropriate manner.

Bridge Disability Support also requires all applicants who can be safely vaccinated for COVID-19, to be so.

All successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment checks including Reference Checks, WWCC, Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening checks, as a reasonable condition of employment.
