Western Power is expanding, and we're looking for 10 skilled Electrical Inspectors to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of consumer electrical installations, including exciting initiatives like home battery systems and other emerging energy technologies across Perth.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Essential:

  • Current Electrical Workers License
  • Valid WA Driver's License Class ‘C' or ‘C-A'
  • 3+ Years Electrician Experience

Desirable:

  • Designated as an Inspector (Electrical)
  • Certificate of Energy Coordination Act 1994, Electricity Act 1945
  • Certificate IV in Government Investigations (Completion within 12 Months of commencement)
  • Detailed working knowledge of electrical transmission and distribution networks and their associated systems
  • Detailed working knowledge of AS3000 and West Australian Electrical requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience
  • Experience in electrical metering and/or installation practices, regulations, and procedures
