If you have a passion for food and wine and high standards of service, we are looking for you. With flexibility of either Part-Time or Full-Time hours, the Food & Beverage Manager will lead and continue to grow our Business.
Titanium Bar & Bistro, located within Mercure Launceston, offers a relaxed dining atmosphere with a seasonal menu utilizing the freshest of produce from around Tasmania.
If you have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a food and beverage supervisor or manager, a genuine passion for great food and wine and the ability to share that passion with your guests and team members, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for managing our restaurant and bar, with a primary commitment to evenings, and some breakfasts, helping to make our F&B Service exceptional
Responsible for the efficient operation of the Restaurant where you will use your people skills to motivate and manage your team, work collaboratively with other departments, and deliver an outstanding dining experience to our guests.
Deliver the food and beverage component of hotel requirements
Conduct staff appraisals and provide feedback to improve productivity
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Assist with the management of social media
Management of stock levels, ordering and completing stocktakes
Balancing the days shifts and closing off
Complaint resolution
Rostering
Ensure thorough cleaning and proper closure of the restaurant following each shift, in line with hygiene and operational standards.
Responsible for maintaining full operational coverage across all scheduled shifts, with readiness to provide additional support or cover as operational needs arise
Demonstrated proficiency in computer use, including efficient handling of email communication and management of group bookings
To Be Successful
Hold a current TAS RSA, be a strong team player and have a min of 2 years' experience as a supervisor or manager, in an a la carte operation, demonstrating exceptional service skills and knowledge.
Strong organisational & communication skills with a clear focus on quality and service standards.
Strong leadership, training and staff management skills.
Outstanding food and wine knowledge.
Financial acumen across budgeting, revenue and costing.
High standard of grooming and presentation.
Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks.
