About the company:

Join a reputable HVAC contractor who are picking up a lot of work in the Tier 2 & Tier 1 space. They have a strong pipeline of long term healthcare, infrastructure, industrial, commercial, and education projects.
There is an immediate opportunity for a senior level mechanical engineer to take a leading role in delivering key projects with dedicated engineering resources working under you.

What your day looks like:

• Project Leadership: Oversee the mechanical engineering aspects of HVAC projects, ensuring successful delivery within time and budget constraints.
• Design Oversight: Manage and review HVAC system designs, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and best practices.
• Team Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, drafters, and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Client Interaction: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, addressing queries and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.
• Quality and Compliance: Ensure all mechanical engineering work adheres to regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and quality assurance processes.

About you:

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience in Australia
• Experience leading complex HVAC engineering projects in the Tier 2 & Tier 1 space
• Strong client facing skills, with the ability to lead client meetings from a technical engineering perspective
• Experience working for an HVAC contractor working on complex D&C projects ideally across healthcare, commercial, and education.
