Our client is a well-regarded, mid-sized engineering and construction company with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors. Known for their commitment to excellence and continuous improvement, they are seeking an experienced WHSEQ Manager to oversee and lead the company's Work Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality initiatives.
About the Role
This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced safety professional to take on a leadership position within a growing business. The role offers a combination of office-based responsibilities and regular site visits, ensuring robust WHSEQ compliance and driving a proactive safety culture across all operations.
This position will suit someone who is confident in leading WHSEQ functions across multiple sites and states, has a deep understanding of ISO standards, and is ready to make a meaningful impact on the safety and quality performance of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine site visits and safety audits
- Develop, implement, and maintain WHSEQ systems, policies, and procedures
- Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO and other relevant certifications
- Produce regular reports for senior management on WHSEQ performance
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organisation
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across WHS, Environmental, and Quality areas

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety (or related field)
- Minimum 6 years' experience in a WHSEQ role within the construction or engineering sector
- Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO certification standards
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Full Australian working rights
