Krack Solutions is an established Fibre Optic and Telecommunications Installation Company with over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.

We are currently seeking an experienced Hands-On Civil Leading Hand / Excavator Operator with telecommunications pit and pipe experience to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our civil crew in there daily tasks including installing of telecommunication pits & pipes in footpath & roadways.

Key duties:

Work closely with our office team and customer Project Managers to meet daily targets safely and efficiently

Coordinate on-site machinery and subcontractor activities

Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety briefings

Installation of Telecommunications Pit and Pipe

Excavation of Pits and driving HR/MR Vehicles

Promote and uphold a strong safety culture on site

Ensure all work is completed to quality standards and industry specifications

This is a hands-on Leading Hand role. You will be working on the tools with the team, providing direction, leading by example and take an active role in getting the job done safely and efficiently

MUST have

Minimum 1 year experience as a Civil Leading Hand

Excavator VOC / Ticket with at least 2 years’ experience

Construction Induction (White Card)

MR/HR Licence and Manual Driver’s Licence

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Pit & Pipe

Full Australian work rights

Highly desirable

Experience operating or steering HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling)

To be considered for the role, you must

At least 1 years’ experience working as a Civil Leading Hand/Excavator Operator in Telecommunications Pit & Pipe construction and 2 years’ experience working as a Civil worker/Excavator Operator.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide your team.

Good problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and minimise downtime.
