About the Role
Sagona Bro’s Operations Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join our team on a civil construction project.

This role is suited to a motivated individual with strong leadership skills who can oversee crews, manage daily operations, and ensure project outcomes are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with our Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate site crews and subcontractors

Ensure compliance with WHS obligations, environmental controls, and quality standards

Manage daily site operations, plant, and equipment

Liaise with site management and project teams to meet deadlines

Promote a positive safety culture and high standards of workmanship

Skills & Experience

Demonstrated experience as a Leading Hand in civil construction

Strong knowledge of WHS requirements and compliance frameworks

Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems

Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

Excellent communication and leadership skills

White Card (mandatory), with relevant plant or machinery tickets highly regarded
