About the Role

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Officer on a permanent, full-time basis to join the People and Organisational Development team. Reporting to the RTO Manager, this role supports all nationally recognised training programs delivered under the PTA’s scope and standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting RTO operations through quality assurance, record management, audits, and learner feedback processes.

Assisting with the delivery and scheduling of Learning and Development programs, including logistics, procurement, and stakeholder liaison.

Coordinating learning and assessment activities including ensuring compliance with the 2025 Standards for RTOs and PTA policies.

Respond to onsite queries related to learning and development training and provide technological and logistical support on site as required.

Providing system support for Cloud Assess, Skills Central, and the Rail Industry Worker function.

Preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and identifying opportunities for process and system improvements.

This role is primarily based at our Guildford office; however, the successful candidate may also be required to work from the Public Transport Centre in East Perth and the Claisebrook office as needed.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Strong administrative skills, including experience in database and records management, implementing systems and process improvements, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Proficiency in using computer systems, with experience in Learning Management Systems and online learning platforms highly regarded.

Well-developed research, analytical, evaluation and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and coordinating system and process improvements.
