Fitter & Turner / Machinist – Kilsyth, VIC

Hardwood Forest Products Australia is searching for a Trade Qualified Fitter & Turner / Machinist to join our workshop team manufacturing high-quality components for the earthmoving & forestry industry.

This is a full-time position Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 7:15am – 3:45pm

Friday: 7:15am – 1:15pm

The Role

You’ll be responsible for a variety of precision machining tasks, including:

Handling small to medium batch runs, one-offs, and jobbing work across a range of materials

Reading and interpreting technical drawings to tight tolerances, ensuring quality workmanship

Setting up, programming, and operating manual and CNC machines (training provided for CNC machining)

To Be Successful

You MUST have:

Trade Qualification as a Fitter Turner or Machinist

Proven skills in general fitting and machining

Ability to work unassisted while maintaining high quality standards

A team-oriented mindset with a “can-do” attitude, reliability, punctuality, and commitment to safety
