As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in:

Building relationships with clients

Managing service delivery to clients

Supporting our family law practice

Ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities

This is a unique opportunity to work in a stimulating and rewarding environment, where you can make a real difference in the lives of the individuals that we represent.

You will have:

Ideally you will have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a Legal Assistant in a family law practice together with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, attention to detail, accurate typing, and computer skills.

Experience with MS 365 Applications, Actionstep, eCourts Portal and PEXA will be highly regarded.

A typical day will include:

Liaising with clients, lawyers and colleagues

Diary and task management

Typing, editing and proof-reading correspondence, Court documents and publications

Collating disclosure and preparing briefs for Counsel

Additional administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of our practice

What we are looking for?

You will have excellent communication and client service skills

Be motivated and highly organised

Have strong computer skills

Demonstrate attention to detail

Have a confident, professional approach

Familiarity with family law processes and procedures is preferred but not essential
