Smarter Living Choices is seeking client focused Support Workers (AINs and DSWs), who have a genuine interest in supporting Australians who are ageing and/or who experience disability.

We have part time and casual roles available as our client numbers grow, for an immediate start. You will be working with clients in their own homes and our community.

Role Overview:

In home support

Recreation and social support.

Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance

Client transport

Supporting clients who use personal equipment /aid, this may include walking or standing frames, wheelchairs, hoists

Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress

Respite Activities: Shopping, any planned social activity

Veteran home nursing

Dementia Care

Community access (transporting clients to community outings, such as medical appointments and shopping)

Some candidates will be considered for a hybrid administration and support worker role.

About You
To be considered for this role you will have:

Required:
• Excellent communication skills
• NDIS Workers Screening Check
• Comprehensive Car Insurance
• Reliable Vehicle and Drivers License
• Current First Aid Certification and CPR
• NDIS Worker orientation module ‘Quality, Safety and You’
• Cert III in Home and Community Care, Aged Care or Disability Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent

Administration experience (desirable)
