About the job
This role is first and foremost about revenue growth. You’ll be responsible for hitting sales targets by driving bookings, converting leads, and expanding Schoolies into new schools and regions.
You’ll take full ownership of your product; opening new accounts, retaining high-performing schools, and building strong relationships with faculty and student leaders to keep bookings flowing year after year.
Your goal? Grow market share, fill rooms, and turn interest into confirmed Schoolies bookings while ensuring every customer feels informed, supported, and excited to travel with Schoolies.com.
What you’ll do
Sales and lead generation
Respond quickly to hot leads and convert them into bookings.
Drive revenue by nurturing pipelines, following up consistently, and closing sales.
Generate new leads through outbound calls, school visits, cold calls, seminars, expos and events.
Drive sign-ups by eliminating obstacles and objections for all students and parents.
Hit (and aim to exceed) booking targets.
Student leaders and community building
Recruit, onboard and motivate student leaders to become Schoolies ambassadors and booking drivers.
Build a high-energy student community that spreads hype, recruits' friends and drives sign-ups.
Consistently find ways to network and connect with student, schools and parents.
Organise and host engaging info nights for students and parents; online and in-person.
Account and relationship management
Own your product, grow Schoolies into new schools and retain high-performing ones.
Build and maintain strong relationships with student leaders, parents and school staff.
Champion potential new relationships and accounts.
Work closely with the General Manger, Head of Sales and Product Sales and Growth Marketing to align strategy, messaging and pricing.
Sales strategy and insights
Track lead progress, conversion rates, and school performance using CRM tools.
Share insights and feedback to refine sales scripts, campaigns, objections handling and processes.
Help shape sales forecasts, promotions and territory plans.
What you bring to the table
3+ years experience in sales, business development or account management (travel, events, education or youth space ideal.)
Strong lead conversion skills; confident on the phone, following up enquiries, handling objections and closing bookings.
Experience with outbound sales including cold calls, school outreach, expos, seminars or in-person selling.
Experience with systems, sales data and excel.
Confident presenting to groups of students, parents or school staff both in-person and online.
Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage and grow a territory or network, tracking performance and driving bookings.
Strong organisational and admin skills to manage CRM pipelines, follow-ups, bookings and deadlines
Comfortable working independently toward sales targets and KPIs.
Driver licence and willingness to travel for school visits and events
Bonus points
️ Experience recruiting or mentoring student leaders, ambassadors or youth communities
Previous work in school engagement, youth leadership programs, travel sales or education service.
Understanding of how schools and parent communication systems operate.
Understanding of the travel industry or particular products like our international destinations and Fiji.
