About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and energetic Service Coordinator to join our team at Secondhand Forklifts Sales and Service. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for coordinating the service and maintenance of our extensive forklift fleet, ensuring our customers receive prompt and reliable support. This position is based in our Bayswater, VIC office.

What you'll be doing

Providing direction, scheduling and support to onsite technicians and sub-contractors

Raising and receipting orders

Reviewing open WIP and completed jobs

Answering phone calls and assisting with customer queries including managing the shared service email inbox

Calling existing customers to schedule forklift servicing when they are due.

Supporting the operations manager, technicians, administrators and account managers to meet customer response time and service commitments

Maintaining In- out Freights.

Assist technicians with technical queries and oversee maintenance of correct procedures.

Monitor service and workshop job cards

Follow and maintain procedures

Perform Ad-hoc duties as required to support the team

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a customer service or administrative coordinator role, preferably within the equipment or automotive industry

Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with customers and technicians

Proficient in using computerised systems and databases to record and track service information

A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

A team player with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
