About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-
time basis.
You’ll be working closely with our Head Chef and management team to deliver
outstanding dishes that showcase local ingredients and uphold our commitment to
excellence in every plate served.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals across lunch and dinner services to a high and consistent
standard.
- Follow directions from the Head Chef and management team to ensure smooth
daily operations.
- Assist in menu preparation and contribute ideas for seasonal or special dishes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment in compliance with Food
Safety and WHS regulations.
- Manage stock rotation and assist with ordering and inventory control.
- Ensure correct timekeeping, meal breaks, and use of kitchen equipment in line
with company policy.
- Provide guidance and support to kitchen team members where required.
- Uphold company standards of professionalism, hygiene, and conduct at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Trade-qualified Chef with previous experience in a restaurant, bistro, or hotel
kitchen.
- Sound knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene procedures, and WHS
requirements.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as rostered (average 38
hours/week).
- Reliable, disciplined, and capable of maintaining quality under pressure.
- A genuine passion for regional Australian cuisine and local produce.
What We Offer
- Full-time position with an annual salary of $70,000 - $80,000 + superannuation.
