Purpose: Contribute to the successful return to work objectives of clients through development and implementation of return to work strategies and objectives, to contain cost, deliver optimal return to work timeframes and support workers in a durable return to work.
Support and structure the return-to-work services alongside the Manager of Return to Work Services, and Head of Workers Compensation.
Responsibility for maintaining and improving client relationships on both existing and new clients.
Return to Work: Responsibility for facilitating return-to-work services across key clients, utilising the various services available to deliver superior outcomes. Including but not limited to:
· Incident Triaging
· Claims reporting
· Collaborative contact with all parties
· Case Conferencing
· Development of early intervention strategies
· Facilitation and development of return to work plans
· Management of the workers and employers obligations and expectations
· Maintaining compliant document management and filing.
Claims Management: Responsibility for providing claims management support and advice to clients, including monitoring the progress of claims and updating clients of their status, from incident notification through to closure.
Influencing the decisions and outcomes of workers compensation claims matters with all parties in the workers compensation eco-system, including monitoring the progress of claims with Claims Service Providers to ensure effective and pro-active management.
Responsibility for providing expert guidance and advice to clients on all workers compensation matters.
Skills:
Sales: Developing suitable and adaptive communication styles to gain acceptance and buy-in of plans, activities and services, both internally and externally.
Negotiation: Effectively exploring alternatives positions and opportunities, gaining acceptance both internally and externally, presenting rational reasoning and logic.
Client Relationship Management: Undertaking actions and encouraging staff to undertake actions to meet and exceed client expectations.
Using clear and adaptable styles to suit client and staffing needs.
Using interpersonal communication styles to build partnerships with all stakeholders and referral partners.
