Your Role

Join PHSA as a dedicated Rehabilitation Counsellor, Provisional/Registered Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist where you will have the opportunity to deliver tailored wellbeing and vocational rehabilitation services across a diverse range of schemes, including Life Insurance, NSW workers compensation, Comcare, Lifetime Care, and CTP. This role not only allows you to work across a variety of client groups and conditions, but also offers the chance to manage a mixed caseload.

Tasks include conducting Vocational Assessments, Vocational and Rehabilitation Counselling, and facilitating effective Workplace Discussions and Case Conferencing with allied health professionals. Your expertise will also be vital in preparing clients for work readiness and collaborating closely with our PHSA Employment Consultants to secure work trials and successful job placements. For Occupational Therapists, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Assessments are also available if this is an area of interest.

What You’ll Need

• Full or Provisional registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or full membership with ASORC (Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors)

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical or workplace rehab setting (preferred)

• Have a current driver's licence and motor vehicle
