The Cleveland Markets Team are looking for a proactive and reliable Farmers Market Manager to oversee the smooth running of our vibrant Sunday Market. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys early mornings, working with people, being part of a small family run business and loves the local community atmosphere.

🌱 What You’ll Do:

Early Morning Set-Up: Arrive by 4:00 AM to coordinate and assist with stallholder arrivals and site set-up.

Market Operations: Oversee the running of the market, ensuring stallholders are guided to their locations and everything is operating smoothly.

Customer & Stallholder Support: Be the go-to person for both shoppers and vendors—friendly, helpful and quick to resolve any questions or issues.

Problem Solver: Think on your feet to resolve logistical or customer issues efficiently.

Capture the Buzz: Take great marketing photos of the market and stalls for our social media channels.

Close Down: Assist with bump out/pack-down and ensure the site is packed down efficiently.

🧾 About You:

Reliable

Highly organised with strong time management skills

Friendly, confident communicator

Calm under pressure and quick-thinking in problem-solving

Physically able to assist with light set-up tasks (e.g. cones, signage, small equipment)

Comfortable using a smartphone to take and upload photos for social media

Previous experience in farmers markets or similar is a plus
