IER is a leader within the research industry for sporting, tourism and cultural events throughout Australia and New Zealand. We are looking to add to our fantastic team of interviewers on the Gold Coast to work on some exciting upcoming events.

The successful applicants will be great communicators and be comfortable with approaching people at various sporting, tourism and cultural events to obtain information about the attendees' experience and behaviours. Some jobs require direct ‘on the spot’ surveying of attendees, other jobs require you to collect email addresses for a post-event survey.

You must be able to demonstrate relevant previous experience in field research or a willingness to approach a wide variety of event goers and engage with these people in a courteous and efficient manner. Accuracy, motivation and determination are also key ingredients to success, along with a strong work ethic to ensure quotas are achieved for every shift.

Previous experience in field research is always favourably looked upon.

Above award wage ($45/hour)

Key Requirements & Skills:

Comfortable approaching people in a face-to-face setting

Ability to face and deal with rejection

Reliable

Strong communication skills

Ability to record data accurately

Previous experience in market research highly desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

Demonstrated experience in a retail, hospitality or customer service role advantageous

Basic understanding of tablet device functions (tablet provided by IER)

Eligible work rights in Australia are required
