We’re expanding our Australian presence and looking for a Technical Support & Implementation Specialist to join our on-site team in Ringwood.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role helping new and existing clients set up and use SMRT and Bubblepay systems with confidence.
This hands-on position involves software and hardware setup, troubleshooting, data conversion from other POS platforms, and direct client training.
It’s a busy, on-site technical role where every day brings a new challenge — from resolving a hardware issue to migrating a full business from another POS.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot POS and app issues across Windows, Mac, iOS and Android
Support and configure hardware: computers, receipt printers, barcode scanners, card readers
Manage data conversion and migration from legacy POS systems into SMRT
Assist clients with software setup, updates, and mobile device configuration
Train clients on SMRT features, workflows, and best practices
Log and manage support tickets in Jira; document steps and escalate when required
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share client feedback and recurring issues
Maintain accurate documentation and client records
What You’ll Bring
Experience in IT, POS, or technical support roles
Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, iOS and Android platforms
Confident with Excel and spreadsheet data handling (CSV imports, data mapping, etc.)
Knowledge of POS systems and hardware peripherals
Familiarity with slcak, Jira, Twilio, and Google Workspace preferred
IT qualification or equivalent experience
Clear, patient communicator with strong attention to detail
Analytical mindset for data accuracy and troubleshooting
Customer-first attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure
